Understanding BlueTooth

Most of us are normally aware of functionality of transmitter. Work of a transmitter could be explained very easily, it it converts electrical energy into a signal and then transmits through the carriers such as wires and cables which is accepted by output devices such as speakers, television, and music stereo system etc.

With Bluetooth technology on the rise, companies have created a Bluetooth transmitter that transfers electrical energy wirelessly into output devices. Because of this devices in a room integrate and talk with each other with out any wires.

Bluetooth Transmitter has a microchip that allows wireless communication among devices. This microchip can be integrated in phones, iPods and computers which are Bluetooth enabled so that you can send audio to a wireless speaker with the help of a Bluetooth transmitter.

Based upon the configuration and range of the Bluetooth transmitter it can connect to other devices . With the help of the Bluetooth transmitter you can integerate your BT enabled phone to your notebook, your stereo system with your headphone and many other combinations.

You can send voice or data message into the device using a bluetooth transmitter. It is done by transmitting the data or audio through a radio communication link using radiowaves that are not very powerful. The required out put is received by sending to the receiver, the demodulated waves.

For instance if you are sending an audio signal via Bluetooth, it gets converted to a digital signal by an audio decoder. It is then received by the output device in that signal which allows it to play the audio through the speakers.

The BT transmission is very commonly done between iPods and stereo speakers. Cell phones and computers are also used for data transmission. The mechanism of a BT transmitter would by difficult to understand by a layman but it does not matter as long as you know how to connect it and get what you want out of the device.

Lots of ipods already have BT transmitter built in them so you need require to reinstall a Bluetooth transmitter device in them to enable them to talk to your speakers.

The audio transmission from an iPod to ear phone can be achieved,if they are enabled with Bluetooth. Having a iPod with BT transmitter compatibility helps you use the device with absolute easy when it comes to transfer data or audio into a computer or stereo speakers/earphones.

Plus these iPods also have easy to use control buttons making it convenient to handle functions such as adjusting volume, changing tracks and pausing or playing songs. With the BT transmitter enable iPod you don’t require any special setup or installation.

Troubleshooting Wireless Internet Connections

Of all the network solutions available, wireless internet gives you the freedom to be online without the need for extensive cabling. However, wireless internet is also more vulnerable to cyber attacks – particularly if it is inactive for long periods of time. If you are having trouble with your wireless network, the following list of network support pointers should help to set you right.

1) Power cycle the system by shutting it down and switching it back on after 30 seconds.

2) Check the network settings in order to verify the IP address and other related information.

3) Determine whether your network card is working adequately.A way to identify a malfunctioning adapter is by disabling the cards one by one.

4) Try moving a portable host (e.g ypur laptop) closer to the router. If it works better, interference of low signal strength is the reason for the poor internet access.

5) Remember to check the functionality of the wireless router and access points. Adjust the antenna to get an optimum signal. Most wireless routers should come with omni-directional antennae to send signals in all directions – a situation appropriate for a square shaped network.

6) Try changing the location of the router and access point. Ideally they should be placed central to all of the computers.

7) Examine signal performance by using the monitoring utility that typically comes with the access point.

Check your devices are showing the correct lights. There is no universal standard to indicate wireless router functionality so make sure that you check the devices manuals to see which lights indicates what function.

9) Use wireless internet connection utilities to check the SSIDs and channel’s neighbouring wireless networks are using.

10) Check that all the correct drivers have been installed.

11) Check the config settings for encryption keys.

If you are still struggling then it can be a good idea to contact the manufacturer of your wireless router or a network supervisor.
